Here we give a keypoint overview of our software. If you just want to see major benefits of the most common points of POS, this is your spot. So read on about Database Architecture, Loyalty Programs etc...

Database Architecture

For single sites we use SQL Express 2005 or SQL Server 2000 MSDE. This dramatically reduces cost while maintaining the high availability, speed and reliability of SQL Server.

For multiple sites and larger sites we employee SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2000. Using SQL Server can employee server roll-over to ensure high uptime. Using a more powerful architecture we can tie together sites to manage inventory, reporting and more.

Server Rollover

On a Friday night your business doesn't need to crash because your server did. Using CCS will minimize your down time with it's simple and integrated rollover support.

Integrated Rollover

There are several levels of rollover that can be done with SQL Server. Most common are solutions like server clusters. Using CCS we don't have to cluster. We have a system that maintains synchronization of the Menu, and the Employees. If there is a failure the system will switch over to the secondary server, or if required the tertiary server. The tertiary server is usually POS Terminal itself.

CCS has an easy management tool for setting up alternate servers

Setting up SQL Server

For SQL Server to be involved, we can manage dual server support to maintain a synchronized secondary computer that will act as the main server if the primary fails. This is usually preferred for restaurants or locations that Users move from computer to computer, and require their transactions follow them.
