- | Starting Orders: These orders are all started from the log in screen of the terminal: Please note: the system can be set differently for some order types. From the login screen enter an access code, then: | ||
- | - Take Out: Press the Take Out button. If a keyboard screen appears, enter the name of the customer. This name will print out the kitchen or bar with the rest of the order. | ||
- | - Dine In: Press the Dine In button. If a layout of tables appears, press one of the green tables. This will allow you to start the order and tag the order for the kitchen. If a number pad then appears, enter the number of guests. | ||
- | - Phone: Press the Phone Order button. A prompt to enter the customer's phone number, or enter a new customer will appear. Entering the last 4 digits of the customer's phone number will usually pull up the customers information. Both the number and Name of the customer will show up in a list, confirm the customer's name and press the select customer button. | ||
- | - Pool Table: Press the Pool Table button. A table layout will appear. Select the Pool Table. Pool Tables in use will show as red, available tables will be green. The order will start with the default table price. | ||
- | - Delivery: Press the Delivery button. A prompt to enter the customer's phone number, or enter a new customer will appear. Entering the last 4 digits of the customer's phone number will usually pull up the customers information. - | Step 2. The next step depends on the type of business. For orders other than Take Out, the orders are generally left open and must be further managed. | ||

- | Table / Delivery / Bar Service: When done with an order, it is important to send the print out to the prep areas. Use the Make Order button on the menu screen. Also there is a setting that may automatically print items when navigating out of the menu screen, check with management to see if this option is enabled. | ||

- | There are several options that may be done after finishing an order. | ||
- | Make Payment and close order. | ||

- | * Print the check (Printing a check will always print the prep items to the kitchen and or bar.) | ||
- | * Press the Lock button on the menu bar to secure the POS - for server stations to prevent unauthorized access. | ||
- | * Press the Orders button, or Tables button on the menu to access another order or manage orders. |
