====== Transfer an order from a table to another ====== ===== Summary ===== Transferring orders from one table to another is a common everyday task for a server in an restaurant. Integration of this option into CCS POS software will make it easy for servers to transfer tables. ===== To add the tables button ===== The first step is to add a tables button in the toolbar of the POS terminal. This is done through the menu button layout option in the control panel of Office touch. To do this go to Office Touch >> Control Panel >> Menu Button Layout . In the Menu Button Layout Window, fill up the fields with appropriate information as shown below: Section: Choose the toolbar to which you want to add the tables button from the dropdown Function:Choose Tables Variable: Leave it blank Caption: Autofills the blank field with the name given in the function field i.e tables Width : Set the width of the button Image: Add an custom image to your button provided it is available on your hard drive The menu button layout window is shown below Fig 1: {{:menubutton_layout.jpg|}} //Fig 1: //Menu Button Layout ===== To transfer order from one table to another ===== Once your button is added in the tollbar, open the terminal module of CCS. To do this go to Windows Start Menu >> CCS>> Terminal >> Enter your code and press enter . In the POS terminal screen as shown below in Fig 2 you will find your tables button added in your toolbar: {{:tables.jpg|}} //Fig 2: //POS Terminal Screen showing tables button Then click on Tables >> Transfer Tables in the consecutive POS terminal screens. The transfer tables button is shown in the Fig 3: {{:transfertable.jpg|}} //Fig 3: //POS Terminal Screen showing transfer tables button Once you click on the transfer tables button,select the source and destination table from the list of tables in the consecutive screens so that you can transfer your order from one table to the other. You have now transferred an order from table to another in CCS
