====== Kitchen / Prep Printer Setup ====== Printer setup for the kitchen, bar, hookah, barista station etc, can be found in Office - Menu Layout, or Office - Control Panel. \\ Once in Printer setup, we focus on section three.\\ Section three has 2 Selections: the printer and the location. \\ - The Printer is defined as the local printer or shared printer that will print to the specified location. Different computers may in fact have different printers for the same location. For example, if using a shared printer, one computer may have \\CCSPOS1\Receipt while the POS Terminal. that is named CCSPOS1 may just have the printer named Receipt. This is because of printer mapping. If you do not understand printer mapping, you will want to speak with tech support. - The location is the Friendly description used during setup of the menu. It does not change per POS Terminal. <note important>Each POS should have the same 'ReportingSettings.mdb File. This is located in the Root of the Cafe Cartel Directory. If you add or delete printers from the Printers settings section, this file will need to be updated on the other computers.</note> Advanced setup - If you need to change the font type or size. You can also choose to copy the print out from the kitchen to the expo printer. You may want to try both options to see what you prefer. \\ If you you do not desire to print some items to the expo printer. You can prevent them from doing so by going to: * Office (Main Toolbar)- Menu Service - Product Search. The style field for the item should be 'No Expo' not including single quotes. Search for the items, and then update them from the toolbar or fill in the style field on the list.
