Discounts in the Point of Sale Terminal

Discounts are accessed from the Discount / Specials button on the bottom of the menu screen. Select either a coupon or a discount. There can not be more than one order discount applied, either coupon or discount.

Order discounts apply to all items that do not have a marker to not be discounted. The amount saved is shown at the bottom of the receipt and menu screen.

The Item Discount button allows items to be discounted any specified amount. This is a secured feature.

Once you select the coupon, an advertiser may appear, you will just need to select the advertiser the coupon came from.

1. Order Discounts: Discounts applied to the entire order. They can be cash or percentage based. Discounts can be password protected, but are not by default. 2. Item discounts: (Password Protected) Discounts applied to specific items. Click on the item, then press the discounts button. There is an option in the discounts screen to apply an item discount to the selected item. This is password protected. 3. Zero Out Order: (Password Protected) Zero out the entire order this is similar to comping an order.

The discount screen offers a button to Zero out the entire item of charges. This is a secured feature.

Change Item Price: (Password Protected) This option is not from the menu screen, just touch the price of the item in the item list to change, enter a managers access code, and then enter the new price of the item. (These changes are logged in the system and the actual price is compared on the end of day reports).
