====== Manage Employees ====== ===== General Information ===== Keep track of your employees personal information, and keep short notes. Once you create a new employee you can add multiple positions to the employee. When the employee clocks on they will either be prompted to choose their position, or if you use the labor scheduler their assigned position will be chosen. Set the primary position to be the highest position if you add new positions to the employee. {{:office:employee_management:emp-demographics.jpg|}} ===== Employee Scheduling ===== Here you assign the shifts the employee will be available to work. If there are no shifts available you will first need to create them. Review the Labor Scheduling chapter. Scheduling creates and manages employee schedules: * Create Templates of Schedules * Quickly project labor costs * Control what employee's can clock in ===== Employee Security ===== This section provides access to the PIN Code and Office Password. Security settings allow a user to have a magnetic security card for terminal access. Use this to prevent password theft. ===== Employee Time Clock History ===== You can view the employees total time history here. Use this section if you need to go beyond the payroll periods listed from the payroll periods screen. The time clock provides several reports that for oversight of expense: Employee reports, reports grouped by employees for a period. Daily reports, reports that hold the total hours worked and payroll expense for each employee. Summary report for the days of a period (summary reports show the number of hours open and the total payroll expense without showing the employees that worked.) ===== Employee Time Off ===== This section is a history of time off requests made by the employee.
