Office Toolbar - Restaurant Menu - Recipes

This section assumes you understand how to add and edit menu items. And that you have menu items within the system already.

CCS stores recipes and instructions for preparing items. With this tool you can: Create preparation instructions for menu specials (that will print on the prep report.) Create a printable recipe book for your staff. Add pictures to your book. Organize your recipes and keep them in a place you won't loose them.

 From the Office toolbar, go to Restaurant Menu, then to Recipes.

After you have added your products, you can begin to create recipes for them.

1. Select the Product you wish to attach a recipe from the item explorer on the left. 2. From the drop down list, type in or select from preparation titles to associate with your product. You will be prompted to create a new preparation if your title isn't in the list. 3. Press the add instruction button. 4. Select the instruction from the list.

*To change the order of the list, click set order then select your item. Use the up and down arrows to move the item up and down the list.
