Emailing Reports

Reports can be emailed daily, and can be emailed as requested. They can also be scheduled to be sent using the Scheduled Tasks in Windows Control Panel.

There are two sections of the emailing. The first section is setting up an email that Sends out emails. The second section is adding in emails that you want to receive these reports.

It's very important to have the proper settings, or you won't receive your emails. We suggest that you set up a new email account that is just used for sending emails. If you use your personal email, then in a few months change the password, you will have to change it in CCS as well.

To setup the sending email

From Office - Control Panel - Email.

1. SMTP Port = 587
2. Set the Enable SSL = True
3. Email - Email address emails are sent from.
4. Email Password
5. SMTP Server - if using gmail smtp.gmail.com

Example: Email, Password, SMTP, PORT with SSL

If you don't see your example below, you can simply google “SMTP [your domain]” (the part after the @ symbol) and there should be some links that tell you what your smtp server is.

To setup the sending email

1. Enter the desired Email Closing Report and Alert Addresses - The email address reports are to be sent too. You may enter in more addresses by separating them with semi-colons.

Things you can Email:

  • Payroll Report - From the Payroll Section - Main Toolbar - Export - Email
  • Reporting - From Reporting & Analysis - Press 'Email Report'
  • Nightly Reports - This will occur automatically once you place a 'Send email' Address in Daily Reports
  • Receipts
  • Void Alters
