====== Networking CCS POS====== There are two types of networking for CCS, one is VPN and the other Local Networking. ===== Local Networking: ===== From the Office of CCS, go to Control Panel. From the menu on the left, click on Network. - Follow the instructions. ===== VPN: ===== Connecting to SQL Server: (These instructions assume each computer has a standard installation.) For internet connections refer to the Remote Connection Help. To connect to a different server or database: 1. From the CCS start toolbar, click on the Data Connect button. 2. Enter ccspwd as the password to enter the network setup. 3. Enter the name of the computer that is the server in the Server text box. 4. The standard username is SA, the standard password is ccspwd.
